1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the services provided on www.ecdic.org and its sub-portals (collectively, the "Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue the use of this Portal.

2 Description of Services

The ECDIC Portal is a digital administrative platform designed for the management of church clergy, branch affiliations, membership tracking, and the secure issuance of official ecclesiastical certificates (Baptism, Marriage, Ordination, etc.).

3 User Accounts and Security

• Account Creation: Access to certain modules (e.g., Pastor Dashboards, Admin Panels) requires a registered account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Credential Security: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. ECDIC will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your password.
• Unauthorized Access: Any attempt to bypass the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), modify system files, or access unassigned branch data is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of access and potential legal action.

4 Submission of Documents & Declarations

By uploading documents (such as ID proofs, birth certificates, and religious affidavits) to our portal, you declare that all files and information are authentic, valid, and legally obtained. Submission of forged, altered, or fraudulent documents will result in the immediate rejection of your application, permanent ban from the council, and reporting to relevant legal authorities.

5 Intellectual Property Rights

All content, software code, UI designs, Certificate formats, ID Card layouts, and the ECDIC Logo present on this Portal are the exclusive intellectual property of the Episcopal Church Diocese of India Council. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent from the Council.

6 Financial Transactions

• All payments made through the portal (via HDFC SmartHub, Net Banking, UPI, or Cards) are subject to bank verification.
• You agree to provide accurate billing information. ECDIC is not responsible for failed transactions due to network issues at the user’s end or bank server downtimes.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Portal and its services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for 100% uptime and data accuracy, ECDIC makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the uninterrupted operation of the portal, or the exactness of the dynamic PDF generation algorithms across all mobile devices.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Episcopal Church Diocese of India Council, its Bishops, directors, developers, and staff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the portal; (b) unauthorized access to your data; or (c) third-party server outages.
